Italy

Italy hosts some of the most distinguished cities in the world, from romantic Venice to fashionable Milan. Home to the Roman empire, the Catholic church and Michelangelo's 'David', it is a must for history buffs, fashion lovers and art enthusiasts, though this charming Mediterranean country rewards every kind of traveller.

Austria

Trimmed by the Danube, Vienna is known for its baroque refinement and musical heritage, home to both Mozart and Strauss. Arts and culture are part of everyday life here, where residents have attended Viennese balls since the 19th century. Join them with exclusive ball tickets, paired with the city's museums and coffee houses.

Russia

Russia is one of the world's largest countries, spanning eleven time zones. It is perhaps best known for the Russian ballet, and Soviet history. Major cities such as Moscow and St Petersburg offer endless intrigue through their museums, Orthodox churches and cultural events, so come experience the fascination for yourself.

Sweden

From cosmopolitan Stockholm to the reindeer fields of Lapland, Sweden has something for everyone. Made up of thousands of islands and inland lakes, its natural beauty is a stunning backdrop. Stay at Lapland's famous Ice Hotel, lost in the wilderness, one of the best places on Earth to see the Aurora alongside dog sledding and snowmobiling.

"To travel is to live."

Armenia

Ancient Armenia is one of the oldest centres of civilisation in Europe, landlocked between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia with the Caucasus to the north. Its mountainous geography creates plateaus of settlement and deep, forested valleys. This lesser-visited former Soviet country is one to adventure in, not just explore.

Georgia

Mountains, adventure and an up-and-coming wine region, Georgia offers more than meets the eye. The Caucasus create ever-changing horizons, while valleys and plateaus make fine winemaking soil and over a third of the country is forested. Tbilisi, the capital, is an ancient city where modern buildings mix with 19th and 20th century architecture.

Malta

This small Mediterranean archipelago consists of five islands, three of them inhabited. Dominated by limestone, each city has a whitewashed look that gleams in the sun, best known for its harbour cities and the Blue Lagoon. With a classic Mediterranean climate and cuisine, the islands are made for relaxing and exploring.
