Our story

A better way to travel the world

Awesome Experiences began with a simple frustration. Our founder, William Burton, had spent his career leading some of travel's biggest names and most specialist operators, yet even for him, putting together the kind of extraordinary trip he actually wanted was painfully slow.

Do it yourself online and you lose hours to research, juggling flights, hotels and guides. Go to a traditional ‘tailor-made’ company and they start from a fixed itinerary, so every change means another round of emails, and another jump in price.

We built Awesome Experiences to fix exactly that: genuinely bespoke trips of a lifetime, shaped by people who have travelled them, and bookable in minutes. Today we are back with a new team, harnessing AI to make searching and tailoring your trip faster and more personal than ever.
