Day One: Welcome to the “Green heart of Italy”
Upon arrival in Rome, your private guide will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in the ‘Green Heart of Italy’, Umbria. Located within the Park of Monte Peglia and Selva di Meana, one of the most pristine and beautiful areas of Umbria, the hotel offers everything you might desire to escape the stresses of daily life. Day Two: Foodie Delights
Get back to nature today as you tour the splendid Umbrian countryside by 4x4 Jeeps. Included in the morning’s activities is a stop to replenish energies with a picnic lunch, loaded with typical local products and, of course, a glass of wine. Returning to the hotel, the afternoon is yours to explore the grounds of the Fattoria di Vibio or you could splurge out on a wellness treatment before gathering for an evening of al fresco dining with a barbecue party.

Day Three: Discover the wine
Today is spent on the glorious estate where you are staying. Spend the morning in the company of the owner of Fattoria di Vibio, who will show you around the vineyards and wine cellar. The wide variety of high quality grapes is symbolic of Umbria and therefore an opportunity to explore wine - in its various stages of production - is not to be missed. The tour ends with a degustation of 3 Umbrian wines, accompanied by local cheeses and snacks - a perfect finish to the morning. The afternoon is a continuation of the day before and yours to spend at leisure, immersed in the Umbrian countryside and the World Biosphere Reserve of the Park of Monte Peglia and Selva di Meana.

Day Four: Arrivederci
This morning bid farewell to the haven of Fattoria di Vibio - it is an extended farewell to Italy though as you travel towards Orvieto. Orvieto is one of Italy’s oldest cities, with origins stemming from the Etruscan civilisation. A must see along the way is the Orvieto Dome, a perfect example of Gothic and Romanesque architecture. Your last taste of Umbria is at your lunch stop - “Le Grotte de Funaro” - a local restaurant fashioned out of a cave, offering a magical atmosphere to enjoy the delicacies of the area, with a glass of white or red wine! In the afternoon, it will be with a heavy heart and replete stomach that you are transferred back to Rome in time for your international flight.
